Over last few years, the neuroscience community in Berlin has been very successful in generating projects and securing grants. Not the least of these is the cluster of excellence NeuroCure, bringing more than twelve new professors and their research groups to Berlin. But not only in research, also in education and training the number of programs has increased. While in 2002 the International Graduate Program Medical Neurosciences was the only structured Master and PhD program, Berlin currently shows four neuroscience schools and several DFG funded research training groups.
It is the purpose of this website to highlight the many projects and the people involved and to give an overview over who is who and where is what in terms of neuroscience in Berlin.
