Berlin Brain Days 2011: 7–9 December 2011

The Berlin Brain Days 2008, 2009, and 2010 were a great success, and the cooperation of the six Berlin neuroscience training programs will continue in 2011.

The format of Berlin Brain Days includes:

There will be an opening lecture and six mini symposia, each with a keynote speaker and three thematic Ph.D. talks.

This year’s keynote speakers include Christian Lüscher (opening lecture) (University of Geneva) and keynote speakers Adrienne Fairhall (University of Washington), Kalanit Grill-Spector (Stanford University), Hermona Soreq (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Frank Bradke (MPI of Neurobiology), Hans J. Markowitsch (University of Bielefeld), and Luiz Pessoa (University of Maryland).

Note: You do not have to present to attend! This is an open conference, and participants without own contribution (talk or poster) are very welcome! To register, fill in the Registration Form.

Note: Ph.D. students selected to give a talk in one of the six sessions will have to attend an obligatory advanced two-day training course in “How to present my topic to an interdisciplinary audience”.

Course dates: 18 November (Day 1) and 1 or 2 December (Day 2).
