Learning Outcome

The structure of this course is a journal club. Every participant is going to get access to an online-folder which contains papers that are related to the topic. It is going to be a mixture of classics and current publications selected from relevant journals. Everybody is free to take publications from this and additional sources, read it and shortly present it for discussion. In this way the multidisciplinary participants are going to share knowledge about the topic and relate it to their own research experience. The presentations are intended to include the main findings, methods and approaches of the paper and form the basis for critical discussion (No Slides! Just a verbal 1–5min summary).

This format is intended to train participants in reading scientific literature and sharing knowledge in an efficient way. There is not going to be a schedule for presentations, so we rely on-self organization motivated by interest in the topic and format.

On some sessions there will be speakers invited who work in this field and present their research.

If you are interested in participating, don’t hesitate to contact the organizer.
