Date 2 February 2010, 9:30 – 3 February 2010, 16:30
Location
Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin (BCCNB)

Dear All,
We would like to invite you the attend the 2nd German-Korean Workshop on Machine Learning in Life Sciences: Computational Neuroscience (MLLS 2010), which takes place at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin (BCCNB) on February 2–3, 2010.
Computational studies of brain function often require methodological competence from fields as diverse as theoretical computer science, information theory, communication technology, signal and image processing, control, machine learning, probability theory, statistics, estimation theory, optimization or theoretical physics. The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers from the machine learning and the computational neuroscience communities in both Germany and Korea to
discuss current research activities and initiate collaborations in which techniques and concepts from machine learning are applied to computational neuroscience. The workshop is jointly organized by Klaus Obermayer (TU Berlin & BCCNB) and Byoung-Tak Zhang (Seoul National University), and co-sponsored by the DFG (Germany) and the NRF (Korea).
All details on the two-day workshop, including program and abstracts, can be found on the following website:
http://ni.cs.tu-berlin.de/mlls2010
The workshop is intended for researchers and students with either Machine Learning or Computational Neuroscience background. Registration is free. Just send an e-mail with your name and affiliation to
if you will be attending the workshop.
See you at MLLS 2010,
Johannes Mohr and Sambu Seo
